...promoting positive
perceptions of people
with developmental
disabilities...
The Public Images Network, and its parent organization,
Ohio Public Images, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation,
were established in 1983 to promote positive awareness
of people
with developmental disabilities. |
 |
|
Often, organizations that serve people with disabilities
have limited budgets. Ohio Public Images and the Public
Images Network were organized to create effective
awareness materials that can be shared by hundreds of
organizations that have a similar mission. |
Graphic artist Sue
Pruss designed
the campaign poster for 2005. It received
an Award of Merit
in the annual competition sponsored
by Women in Communiation. |
That means high quality materials are affordable for even the
smallest agencies. The campaign theme for 2006 is "Everybody
Belongs." The artwork and support products have been updated
to give the 2006 campaign a fresh feel. We are also offering, free
of charge, a series of television public service announcements utilizing
the Think Ability First theme. Click here to
