An amazing app for Bible lovers. The best app to learn more about the Holy Book and to introduce yourself to the Christianity basics. You can read the Bible with this app, cite your favorite verses, take your notes of revelation and learn the history of Bible. You can also listen to the Bible here. It has all the books of Bible here (by Hosea, Jonah, Malachi, etc.) and old and new testimonials. All for free.

Interface 10/10

The app has the most comfortable and easy interface I’ve ever seen. There are icons that I didn’t know I needed like “My Progress” (see how much of the Bible you read and how much you need to read), “Bible Quiz” (check your Bible knowledge) and “Dictionary” (learn some of those old words’ meanings from the Bible). You can plan your daily Bible readings with this app so you can make a schedule for that and the app rates your progress and gives you warnings and reminders if you forget about it. You receive your daily portion of inspiration with “Daily Bible Verse”, “Daily Devotion” and “Evening Verses”.

Features 10/10

For taking notes there are two options - regular and personal notes, the difference is just “Notes” button is for your notes when you read verses and “Personal Notes” icon is for your separate notes from reading the Bible. You can stream or download the audio file of the Bible! But not the whole part but specific verse which makes it easier to save the space on your phone. All the verses are divided in topics so, let’s say, you want to read about hope because you need it today you can go to the “Topical Bible Verses” and choose any section you like (Hope, Peace, Praise, Comfort, etc.). You can change the font of the Bible to your liking. And finally, you backup your app experience in case you’re changing your phone or if you’re just afraid to lose it. Every verse in every genesis is clickable so you can add highlight, bookmark or note to it. And you can share your favorite quote of wisdom with your friends via any social network or messenger, you can do it by test or with the picture.

Performance 10/10

King James Bible performs very well I didn’t have bugs or glitches even one time during my few days of experience. It works fast, solid, without any underwhelming. All its features work as you want them too - everything is clickable, adjustable to my liking.

You can purchase the ad-free version of this app for around 13$. The ads though are very selected and mainly Bible-connected. The app doesn’t make you buy the full version aggressively - I didn’t know that I could do that before I purposefully checked out the app purchases.  The audio files are for free.

The Verdict

I generally enjoyed this app although I’m not Christian. It’s user-friendly, convenient and easy to understand. This app has a lot of different features which allows you to immerse fully into your Bible exploring experience. Although it did get a little annoying when the app asks you to go and subscribe to the main website GodLife.com. I wish the same app would be created for math and/or physics.
